Dispensa pani e vini
Torbiato di Adro, Brescia, Italy
Developed from an idea born from the collaboration between a Brescian entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti and chef Vittorio Fusari, this venture is located in the heart of Franciacorta wine region.
The richness of this project derives from a strong idea, sound and rational, that represented the point of origin for the creative process.
The format envisages a combination of three complementary environments. The gourmerie located near the entrance has a traditional display counter, reproposed in a contemporary key.
The kitchen is in open view so as to decisively contribute, by its seductive image, to the introduction to pleasures of the palate.
Adjacent to the gourmerie is the wine room, or enoteca one may say, characterised by the original display racks for bottles and other products, and the large central table of classical design for receptions and wine tasting. The large central chandelier is a Vico Magistretti design.
The third ambient is represented by the restaurant hall where the configuration of seating is proposed in a flexible manner, with tables of convenient dimensions, square or round in shape. The rigourous and characterising element of this ambient is the comfortable upholstered bench running the full length of the hall.
Lighting is integrated into the false ceiling and provided by rational and minimalist lights. Along the circulation paths and the edges of the spaces indirect lighting is provided, with cuts of light delimiting a wall or a space. In the gourmerie spotlights are distributed tactically while in the restaurant hall the lighting elements are track mounted, allowing optimal flexibility for the demanding lighting orchestration.
